

Allgroom Motorsport
Allgroom motorsport has built a strong presence in club level motorsport over the last few years, consistently achieving impressive results, such as several podium and having both cars consistently in the top 10. Our team is focused on not only achieving excellence on the track but also promoting the brands that support us through various media channels, including social media, race events, and team marketing campaigns.
We currently have two cars competing in the Classic Stock Hatch championship being driven by the Father and Son due, Rick and Finn Groom. Both cars are identical Ford Fiesta XR2’s and are ready for 2025 after a winter of refresh for both engines and body work.


Finn Groom #91
Finn has completed 3 season so far with very little driving experience beforehand. Finn starting by joining his father and uncle when he was 12, attending races, helping work on the cars and was the main photographer for the team. During covid Finn and Rick build two new cars and gave the team a new colour scheme. Finn started racing in 2022 using number #90 as his uncle was still using #91. In 2023 Finn took over using number 91 when Steve retired from racing.

Finn is a water quality instrument engineer for the local water company. Finn brings a lot of technical skill to the team notably he built both cars wiring looms from scratch.

Rick Groom #92
Rick has completed 9 years racing an XR2. His brother Steve, used to race an XR2 back in the 90s and early 2000s before he gave it up in 2002 after a bad crash at Brands Hatch. After 14 years Steve found his original XR2 up for sale and decided to go racing again. At this time in 2014 Rick bought a Clio 182 sport track car and eventually got the bug for racing and bought his own XR2 at the end of 2015. The two brothers raced alone side each other under the allgroom motorsport name for serval years until Steve retired from racing in 2022. Now Rick continues to use number 92 along side Finn.
Rick is a Senior Project manager for large construction project and brings a lot of useful management and logistic skills to the team.
